We use the current Government, Public Health England and World Health Organisation guidance as a minimum level for our staff, often far exceeding their recommended level of protection equipment required. All our PPE is CE and UN approved and certified to the relevant specifications.
Unyte Waste specialise in the classification, packaging, consignment, transport and disposal of all classifications on waste materials generated. Currently the DfT has produced guidance relating to the transportation of UN 3373 Biological Substance Category B (Potentially Coronavirus impacted materials).
Subject to the level of contamination present the waste materials are also classified as Category B Clinical Waste for transport and disposal.
All the sanitisation products we utilise are manufactured to World Health Organisation’s specifications. Ensuring full efficacy and validation analysis is undertaken prior to use of any batch of products. The sanitisers are effective against 99.9% of bacteria and viruses, including SARS-CoV and SARS-CoV-2.
We are working in partnership with a local distillery who bulk produce the sanitiser we use in our decontamination and sterilisation works, this ensures uninterrupted supply.
Following successful decontamination of the required facility, building or site, there is a full CQA report generated along with a clearance certificate to show the decontamination or sterilisation works have been undertaken and completed.
